[Cmte3] bills, bills, bills??

Since 1008 has been stripped of the hotel/motel tax, (just income tax as of
now), I'm guessing Jo isn't as interested, so we can probably have it back.
I'm willing to present this one if Jo's willing to give it up (ok, Jo?).
It's a baby step in the right direction.  The original bill was much
stronger for local government.

  I have forwarded to each of you copies of the master list of bills
and the reporting form in Microsoft Word format.

  While I'm open to bill reports on any topic, or at least those
assigned to our committee, it seems like HB 1008 seems like it is
of greatest interest to us since it deals with fiscal home rule.

  KD -- I think you'd be the best person to evaluate the merits
of this bill, at least if we have a current version.  Mark may 
also be of some assistance.

  I plan to be at the Radisson at 7 a.m. to discuss any bills
that are ready.
