[Plmconf2] Changing the August Ministerium Date

Summer Salutations!

I'm contemplating changing the August ministerium date.  Please let me know
what your opinion is regarding the change.  If I actually do change the
date, you will receive another email.

Let me explain.

This August the Lafayette conference is scheduled to meet in Franfort at St.
Paul's Lutheran Church.  Mary Frohs is the interim pastor there, and she
works only on Fridays and Sundays.  (Her schedule is restricted due to
family and educational commitments - so she is not able to re-arrange her
schedule.)

Mary is a seminary classmate of mine - and I don't believe she has met any
of you.

In the interest of having you all meet her, I'm contemplating moving the
August Ministerium Meeting to a Friday in the later part of August.
Unfortunately, the Friday of the same week (the 24th) will NOT work for me.
(Purdue Student Activities Fair is an important day to meet new students)
So I'm contemplating moving it to the 17th or the 31st. 

I realize that many of you take your day off on Friday.  

My hope is that, for the sake of collegiality, we all might be able to
re-arrange our schedule *just this once* in order to meet with Mary.  It is
my hope that the month of August - in particular - might lend itself to a
little more flexibility than the rest of the year might.

Please let me know what you think.  I'll get back to you regarding the
date/location when I've heard back from those of you who take the time to
respond.
