Dear Friends and Family,
 
Well, we have gotten through the next hoop in the call process (well, really
I did, but Eric counts too in all this!). We met the congregation this
morning, I preached and led worship and then they voted right after worship
to call me as their next pastor.
 
They voted yes! So the last of the major hoops is gotten through. What's
next is to have the Bishop of the Synod sign off on the call and the
financial package; then I still need to get a formal letter from the church
letting me know that they'd like me to be their pastor.
 
I realized tonight that I've been remiss on sending a few photos along of
the church and the parsonage, so to that end here is a link to a web-album
for you to take a look.
 
Also if you Google Stendal, IN you will see that it's a rural berg, the
church is the town/the town is the church, ie: no businesses here! However,
the parsonage has 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 kitchens; so there'll
be plenty of room for everyone to come visit us down in southern Indiana!
 
When we know more details, as in after I've signed the letter saying
yes..... we'll let everyone the new address, phone number and when we're
officially moving; also when the installation will be.
 
If you'd pass this info on to people who's emails I don't have, or who don't
have email, I'd appreciate it!
