Wabash River Ride - Saturday, AUG 23 - www.W9TCA.com/wrr
<http://www.w9tca.com/wrr>

IMPORTANT: If you plan to help, please fill out the registration form ASAP.
Even if you are sure that I, personally, know you're going to help, the
cycle club event planners do NOT, until you register as a volunteer. The
information you provide gets sent to multiple individuals who need this
data immediately for event planning purposes. As of now, only 5 individuals
have signed up to help.

----------------------

The Wabash River Cycle Club is asking for help again this year with
communications for their annual Wabash River Ride. Over 300 cyclists are
expected to travel up to 100 miles through Tippecanoe, Fountain, and Warren
counties, with marginal to no cell phone coverage in many areas. This poses
a safety risk for those participating, and presents a challenge for event
coordinators.

Please consider volunteering to help provide amateur radio communications
for this event on Saturday, August 23. Cheryl, K9HER, is coordinating the
logistics for this operation, and needs everyone who is planning to help to
fill out a very brief registration form. It and more information about this
event can be found at: www.W9TCA.com/wrr <http://www.w9tca.com/wrr>

16-20 amateurs are needed to help provide communications for this event.
Please consider helping to provide amateur radio public service
communications for this worthy cause. Contact Cheryl, K9HER, with any
questions: K9HERradio at gmail.com

IMPORTANT: If you plan to help, please fill out the quick registration form
ASAP so we can make the necessary plans. Thanks and 73.
