Last chance to sign up and volunteer to help next Saturday with the Wabash
River Ride! We are still in need of those who are willing to drive their
vehicles and be a SAG wagon. If you've been procrastinating to sign up,
please do it now!!

Cheryl, K9HER, will be making final plans this weekend, and then contacting
those who have signed up to help to let them know their assignments.

We will have an event coordination net on Thursday at 08:00 PM on the
147.135 MHz WIRES repeater. If you've signed up to help, please join us for
the net if you can, as we will be going over last minute changes.

Please consider volunteering to help provide amateur radio communications
for this event on Saturday, August 25. Cheryl, K9HER, is coordinating the
logistics for this operation, and needs everyone who is planning to help to
fill out a very brief registration form. It and more information about this

16-20 amateurs are needed to help provide communications for this event.
Those who can volunteer to drive their own vehicle (large enough to
accommodate 3-4 people, plus a couple of bicycles) as a SAG wagon are also
needed. Please consider helping to provide amateur radio public service
communications for this worthy cause.
