Fellow hams,

We are asking you to continue your public service mission by helping report
the status of Tippecanoe County's warning sirens during their monthly test.
If you are available this coming Saturday morning and can go to a siren
location to observe its operation, please check into the net at 10:45 a.m.,
on the WI9RES 147.135 MHz repeater (131.8 Hz tone), and advise Net Control
of which one you plan to cover. The sirens are scheduled to activate at
11:00 a.m.

The ARES website, www.W9TCA.com <http://www.w9tca.com/>, is undergoing some
major changes. There is almost nothing there at this time, except the Net
Control Schedule and some of our primary documents. More data will be
posted over time, but it will not be as extensive as it was prior to the
change. More information to come later.

In the meantime, check into the siren test net and let the net control
which siren you plan to report.

We look forward to working with you and other members of the amateur community
to help TEMA collect status reports of the county's warning sirens on the
1st Saturday of each month. Please consider helping with this important
public service. Thanks and 73.
