The SKYWARN Spotter Training provided by the National Weather Service that
was originally scheduled for April 1 in Lafayette, has been postponed. Here
is the word from the NWS website:
*ALL Spotter Training Sessions are POSTPONED until further notice! They may
be rescheduled.*
IMPORTANT NOTE: Out of an abundance of caution for COVID-19 & in order to
protect our staff as well as the public, all remaining NWS Storm Spotter
Classes across central Indiana have been POSTPONED effective immediately.
We may consider rescheduling storm spotter talks at a later date. We
apologize for any inconvenience and thank all of our emergency personnel,
the amateur radio and storm spotter communities who make it possible for us
to do our jobs.
