This Week at Purdue Lutheran Ministry
The week of April 2, 2006
WELCOME to PLM's weekly newsletter! We gather each Tuesday afternoon for
Soup Lunch at 412 Russell Street -- and Sunday evenings at Our Saviour
Lutheran Church for a student led worship at 5:30 and Sunday night supper
afterwards at 6:30. PLM offices are located at 412 Russell Street - right
in the middle of campus. Our Saviour Lutheran Church (OSLC) is located on
the corner of Fowler and Vine streets - one block east of the Knoy Hall of
Technology.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The next PLM Planning meeting is: Tuesday, April 4th at 7:00pm at 330.
Easter Sunday Reminder-Come and worship Sunday morning at OSLC.
Worship during Lent on Wednesday evening at OSLC. Soup Supper at 6:00 and
worship at 7:00.
Relay for Life -- April 8 & 9 from 5p.m. to 7a.m at the Gold Intramural
Field. Contact Erica for updates at Ehague@purdue.edu. Setup will be at 3:
30pm. The relay begins at 5pm. There is a minimum of $10 for a donation,
please have this by April 4 so Erica can submit all donations on April 5
which is “Bank Day.” Our team name is the Bippit Running Reformers-PLM.

On Sunday, April 9, we will be electing officers. Nominations for Fall 2006
only are as follows: President - Sarah Kennedy, VP - Christina, Treasurer -

Our next Church Tour will be on April 23. We will be going to Britt’s
church in Attica. Meet at PLM at 8:30am.
Compassion International receives our first Sunday of the month offering.
We have 2 children, Nur Efendi from Indonesia and Christina Luka Sombi from
United Republic of Tanzania.
PLM Choir sings at the Sunday Night Worship and rehearses on Sunday, 4:00pm
at 330.
The Science and Theology Brown Bag Discussions this Thursday at Noon at the
Wesley Foundation (435 West State) will be: Mary A. (Ann) Wright -- Ann
Wright who resigned from the U.S. Foreign Service on March 19, 2003, while
serving as Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Mongolia.
ELCA’s Global Mission Event is happening this summer at University of
