WELCOME to PLM's weekly newsletter!  PLM's mission on the campus of =
Purdue
is to build a campus Christian community where people grow in faith,
encourage one another in their faith journey, and extend Christ=A1=AFs =

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We gather each Wednesday afternoon for Soup Lunch at 330 West Fowler =
Avenue
-- and Sunday evenings at Our Saviour Lutheran Church for a student led
worship at 5:30 and Sunday night supper afterwards at 6:30.  Our Saviour
Lutheran Church (OSLC) is located on the corner of Fowler and Vine =
streets -
one block east of the Knoy Hall of Technology.  PLM offices are located =
at
330 West Fowler Avenue, =A8=F6 block west of OSLC. =20

a            Welcome Students.  We=A1=AFre Purdue Lutheran Ministry, =
(PLM), the
campus ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).   =
We
invite you to join in any of our activities.

a            Sunday Night Supper and PLM Worship start tonight (August =
19)
at OSLC.  We will have plenty of good things to eat and drink.  Worship
begins at 5:30 p.m. and Supper follows at 6:30.

a            A Soup Lunch will be held at 330 every Wednesday around the
lunch hour starting August 22.

a            The first PLM Student meeting of the year is:   Thursday,
August 23 at 6pm. @ 330.

a            CALLOUT AT OSLC WILL BE NEXT SUNDAY, August 26th:  Come to =
Our
Saviour Lutheran Church at 5:30 p.m. for worship and 6:30 p.m. for a =
supper
with OSLC members. =20

a            PLM Callout w/Scavenger Hunt, August 29th from 6:00 to =
8:00pm.

a            A new sermon series is coming to OSLC/PLM!  It's entitled:
"Tim's Tool Time:  Building the Household of God - Construction
Instructions from the Book of Timothy."  The sermon series will run from
September 16th through October 21st.  During these six Sundays we focus =
on
a different tool taken from the books of I & II Timothy.  An object will =
be
used to illustrate the tools functioning in a children's sermon.

a            Ever want to try your hand at Preaching?  Consider signing =
up
for a Sunday night to preach.  Pastor Steve would be glad to help you
prepare a message.  Talk to him in person - or contact him at =
