This Week at Purdue Lutheran Ministry

WELCOME to PLM's weekly newsletter!  PLM's mission on the campus of =
Purdue
is to build a campus Christian community where people grow in faith,
encourage one another in their faith journey, and extend Christ=A1=AFs =
love to
others.  PLM offices are located at 330 West Fowler Avenue, =A8=F6 block =
west
of OSLC.  Our Saviour Lutheran Church (OSLC) is located on the corner of
Fowler and Vine streets - one block east of the Knoy Hall of Technology.
Sunday evening worship for students is at 5:30pm and supper at 6:30pm at
OSLC.

We are updating the PLM picture board outside of OSLC as well as our
picture directory.  Please email a picture of yourself (preferably a
headshot) to sjkuhn@purdue.edu ASAP.

We will be taking our PLM group picture immediately after worship on =
Dec.
2.  Anyone who wants to be in the picture be sure to attend service that
night! =20

Annual Advent Dinner and Celebration - Sunday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 PM. The
evening will begin with an explanation of The Jesse Tree tradition and =
an
opportunity to make a Jesse Tree of your own. Next will be dinner and
preparation time for the Impromptu Christmas Pageant. Then the Impromptu
Pageant will be performed. The activities will conclude with a candle =
lit
Christmas carol sing. Anyone with musical talents, please contact Mike
Zdilla (765-464-0386 or mzdilla@purdue.edu) if you are interested in
accompanying the carols so he can provide you with a copy of the music.

In keeping with tradition, we will have our pancake study break at 9pm =
on
Tuesday, Dec. 11th, of finals week, so come on by for some good food and
fellowship.

If this is your last semester at Purdue, we would like to recognize you =
at
our upcoming worship service on December 2nd.  Please let us know if you
plan on attending worship on December 2nd.  The deadline is November 18.

The next PLM Planning meeting is:  Monday, Nov 19th, 5:30pm at 330.

There is a computer with internet service available for student/visitor =
use
at 330.
