WELCOME to PLM's weekly newsletter!  PLM's mission on the campus of =
Purdue
is to build a campus Christian community where people grow in faith,
encourage one another in their faith journey, and extend Christ=A1=AFs =
love to
others.  PLM offices are located at 330 West Fowler Avenue, =A8=F6 block =
west
of OSLC.

REMINDER:  Sunday evening worship is at 5:30 p.m.  Supper begins at 6:30
p.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church (In the Basement).  Our Saviour
Lutheran Church (OSLC) is located on the corner of Fowler and Vine =
streets -
one block east of the Knoy Hall of Technology.

A Soup Lunch will be held at 330 every Wednesday around the lunch hour.

Student Bible Study -- Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm at 330.

Volunteers Needed for the following Jobs -- Please see Pr. Steve
    Troubleshoot the computer w/networking problems
    Find new-cool places on the Web for interesting religion-society
discussion topics
    Create songbook
    Students w/cars willing to provide rides
    Webmaster

Traditionally, PLM has gotten involved in the following causes:  =
Lafayette
Urban Ministry Dinners, Visit to Nursing Home to help with craft =
projects,
Participation in the Walk-a-thon for Cancer, Hunger Hike Participation,
Habitat for Humanity Builds.  If you would like to coordinate one of =
these
efforts - we will celebrate you!!  Contact Pr. Steve for more info

FYI  Re FACEBOOK:  Pastor Steve's facebook name is Pr. Steve Rye.  In
sensitivity to some students desire for privacy, Pr. Steve doesn't
*initiate* facebook friendships...but he LOVES to accept them.  =
(Especially
since he is currently running behind in his race against the IU campus
pastors for the most facebook friends.)

A new sermon series is coming to OSLC/PLM!  It's entitled: "Tim's Tool
Time:  Building the Household of God - Construction Instructions from =
the
Book of Timothy."  The sermon series will run from September 16th =
through
October 21st. =20

Compassion International receives our first Sunday of the month =
offering.
We sponsor Christina Luka Sombi from United Republic of Tanzania.
